Vero Beach Art Club

VOLUNTEER Opportunities

Volunteers are our most important asset

The Vero Beach Art Club is made up of approximately 450+ members, most of whom volunteer at our events, meetings, and keep our Club running smoothly. The Art Club is a non profit 501(c)3 organization and only has 1 full time and 1 part time employee who work in the office processing payments, updating our website, maintaining our calendars and other important duties to keep the operations running smoothly.

Without our volunteers, we could not offer our events, or provide the funds for scholarships and to support art education in the greater Vero Beach area. Nor could we contribute so much beauty to Art in Public Places.

Our Club depends on volunteers and offers many different types of volunteer opportunities throughout the year. We have volunteers who work from home, work only on a specific event or area, or chair a large event or project. Please fill out your Volunteer Application today, listing your talents, areas of interest, and availability.

We are interested in finding qualified candidates for our Officer and Board of Directors as positions become available. We have a Nominating Committee who recommends a Slate of Officers and Directors each year in May for those people whose positions are coming to an end. The Nominating Committee has been presented and will be voted in at our November General Meeting:
Sue Dinenno
Ray McLendon
Fran San Miguel
Barry Shapiro

We always need photographers who are willing to volunteer to take photos at our public events, meetings, scholarship or check presentations, and exhibits. Our members volunteer and participate in events or projects that benefit our community in many ways. The Vero Beach Art Club donates to local schools and organizations to help support our mission and vision for enriching lives through art. We also create projects to benefit our local community in many different ways, including large murals for Art in Public Places. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out our Volunteer Application, noting the medium, area, event or other specific way you would like to volunteer. You are always welcome to be a general volunteer for any need that may arise. If you are interested in, or know of a special project that you feel would benefit our community, please contact our current President Anne Malsbary so we may bring it before the Board of Directors.
