Guest Speaker/Artist
BARBARA KRUPP

7:00pm-9:30pm
Held at the home of Dorothy Napp Schindel

This past May... we gave out a survey which asked questions about what members would like to see us emphasize as we revise the Club's Workshops.  We had a nice response to the question about Salons.  And so, we are having a first in what we hope will be a series of Salons.  This is part of the new Workshop Committee's desire to introduce new experiences, such as Salons, Lectures, Panels as well as hand's on workshops.  Salons are intimate discussion based gatherings that inspire repartee on specific topics of interest to artists.

The first of these Salons will be held on November 6th from 7:00pm-9:30pm at the home of Dorothy Napp Schindel.  The guest speaker/discussion leader will be internationally recognized and acclaimed artist Barbara Krupp.  Barbara will offer us commentary on her experiences with being represented by galleries and how representation has helped to challenge and expand her career- while inspiring her to take her work to new heights through experimentation and perseverance.

Barbara, an expressionist contemporary painter, is presently represented by the Dabbert Gallery in Sarasota, Ann Jackson Gallery in Roswell, GA and the Muse Gallery in Ohio. Over the years, she has shown her work in shows and additional galleries throughout the country and abroad.  She divides her time between Ohio and Vero Beach and maintains a studio/gallery on Rte 1 in Vero.   Barbara's website is www.barbarakrupp.com.  Please visit the site to learn more about Barbara....and her work.

There will be wine and dessert and tantalizing conversation!!  We can only have 15 participants at the Salons and this was presented last night at the monthly Club meeting at the Museum and we now only have 5 spots left.  If this evening is successful, as we think it will be, there will be other Salons offered on a regular basis throughout the season.  They are free of charge to Art Club members. Dorothy will contact the participant with directions to her home.

If you would like to sign up for one of the remaining 5 spots, please contact Dorothy asap as it is first come, first served at click to email
