Junior Members

Help us grow our Junior Membership!

If you know any young, budding artists in the age range of 12 years old to 17 years old, please encourage them to join the Club! Our Junior Membership is growing and we hope to encourage our budding artists to become an integral member of our Club.

Junior Membership is only $5 a year and they can exhibit in all Shows & Sales except Art in the Park and Under the Oaks. Junior Members have an opportunity to exhibit their artwork in our free exhibits (Office Art Gallery, Members’ Invitational and the IRC Library Exhibit).

We now hold Quarterly Junior Member Meetings at the Museum in season (October – April) and in member’s homes off season. Watch for the meeting schedule which will be posted soon.

This is new, so you and Junior Members can help us decide!

Meetings will be informal and give our Junior Members the opportunity to meet each other and talk art. Everyone is encouraged to bring a piece (or more than one piece!) of her/his artwork to share. Then we will brainstorm on a theme to work on an art piece/s to bring to the next Quarterly Junior Meeting. We will also discuss what the Club offers for Junior Members and brainstorm on ideas about how we can expand our program.

After the Junior Meeting, the Club's General Membership Meeting will begin around 5:30pm. Junior Members are encouraged to stay for the beginning (the entire meeting if they want!) of the Club's General Membership Meeting so we can introduce them and show off their artwork.
