IRC Main Library Members' exhibit applicants

Each quarter Current Members of the Vero Beach Art Club may apply to exhibit their artwork at the Main Branch of the Indian River County Library. Up to 15 artists will be accepted each quarter. See application dates, requirements, and other important information below. There is no fee to enter, however only current members of the Vero Beach Art Club may apply. You may apply by email only during the Open Application Period.

Vero Beach Art Club members have an opportunity to display their original work in the library. Exhibits are scheduled 4 times per year. The art work displayed is themeless and is the personal choice of each artist. All paintings on exhibit are for sale with purchase and contact information at the library information desk.


Applications taken on the following dates:
(First Come, First Served up to 15 artists). See requirements below.


September 4-7, 2019 (for the September 11, 2019 exhibit)
December 4-7, 2019 (for the December 11, 2019 exhibit)


March 4-7, 2020 (for the March 11, 2020 exhibit)
June 1-4, 2020 (for the June 10, 2020 exhibit)



Indian River County Main Library
1600 21st St, Vero Beach, FL 32960
Located behind the IR County Courthouse Building on 21st Street.
West of 14th Avenue in historic downtown Vero.
Plenty of free parking!


Exhibits change quarterly and are non-themed.
Artists may submit one art piece per quarter
Artists must signup and provide their item information in advance
Fifteen entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
Minimum Size: 11 x 14 framed
Exhibit is limited to 2D artwork or 2D/3D which can be hung safely.
Sizes “48 or larger”: To be decided based on number and sizes of entries
Artist Signature Required (Preferably on front of art work)

Accepted and OK:

Gallery-wrapped and unframed
Glass on pieces up to 18x24
Plexiglass on pieces larger than 18x24
D-Rings: placed 1/3 down from top of frame
Photographs framed with glass or plexiglass

Not Accepted and Not OK:
Sawtooth hangers
Photographs on Canvas

Two Hold Harmless Agreements must be signed on Exhibit Entry Date
1. IR County Library Hold Harmless Agreement
2. Vero Beach Art Club Hold Harmless Agreement
(This is an agreement that any artwork not picked up on last day of exhibit will be held in the VBAC Office with a $1.00 storage fee per day.) These forms will be provided to artists once they have been accepted.
