Board of Directors

  • Michelle Nevaeh, President

Michelle Neveah, classically trained as an Executive Chef at the Culinary Institute of America in NY, has always been passionate about artistry and presentation. Believing we “eat with our eyes first,” she now channels that creativity into woodworking. Specializing in live-edge and exotic woods with premium epoxy and pigments, she creates one-of-a-kind functional art, including cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and her signature “Chef’s Tables” — live-edge river epoxy wood tables, as well as wall art and sculptures that complement my functional art pieces.

  • Iris Peters, Vice President

Iris Peters started painting 15 years ago in Baltimore. When she moved to Vero Beach 10 years ago, she was inspired by the beauty of colorful birds, florals, the ocean, and sea life. She paints in acrylic somewhat realistically but loves to exaggerate the colors. Recently, she has been exploring fluid art. This method relies on color blends to achieve beautiful abstract results. Catch her at many of the art shows around town including Art in the Park, Art by the Sea, Under the Oaks, and the Vero Beach Art Club Gallery.

  • Steve Brooks, Director

Steven entered the art world as a graphic artist, designing everything from advertising to a monthly magazine.

Over the years his business career took him away from design.

Since moving to Florida over 20 years ago he became motivated to paint our wonderful landscape finding inspiration from Florida artists including "A. E." Backus, the Highwaymen and Florida’s own Bob Ross.

He particularly enjoys sharing the joy of painting by teaching people to paint and has taught hundreds of students in Vero Beach.

He is a Certified Bob Ross Landscape painting instructor. In addition Steven is certified in Floral and Wildlife instruction.

Steven is a Director at Large of the Vero Beach Art Club.

  • Paulette Visceglia

    Paulette Visceglia, Ex-Officio

Paulette Visceglia has mastered the art of transforming fiber into fine art, while also serving as a dedicated leader in her local arts community. Beyond her studio, she spent many years on the Board of Directors for the Vero Beach Art Club, notably guiding and growing the organization during her extensive tenure as President.

Known for her exquisite, colorful silk paintings and her skillful work in wet and needle felting, she creates elegant, original pieces that blur the line between fashion and sculpture. Inspired by such master artists as Picasso, Matisse, Miró, Kandinsky, O’Keeffe, and Chagall, Visceglia isn’t afraid to work boldly. Her palette bursts with rich reds, lush greens, and vibrant blues balanced by soft, earthy tones — a visual harmony that reflects both her painter’s eye and her tactile connection to the medium of fiber.
